Q1: 今後新たにSunRayサーバを構築する際には、多機能なこのVDIを使用した方が良いのでしょうか？
    もしくは、今までの単体のSunRayサーバソフトウェアを使用した方が良いのでしょうか？

A1: 個人的な見解のため恐縮ですが、Sun Ray サーバの構築に関しましては、
    今まで通り、単体の Sun Ray Server Software (現在の最新版は 4.0）をご使用
    頂く形で構いません。
  
    今までの Sun Ray Server Software に加えて、機能が限定された SGD を併用する、
    およびアプリケーションサーバの環境に仮想環境（現在はVMware Infrastructure 3 上の
    仮想デスクトップ環境）が構築され、これらの環境に含まれる Windows 仮想デスクトップに
    接続する、といった場合には、今回発表されている VDI 2.0 を使用すると、より利便性が
    向上されます。
   
    単体の Sun Ray Server Software や単体の（フル機能）SGD とは、異なる
    ライセンス体系となりますので、用途に応じて、VDI 2.0 のご使用をご検討
    頂くと宜しいかと考えております。
